RenatifyNative Again
A time to slow down, breathe, and listen to the life within and around us.
Kerexu, Guarani leader of Morro dos Cavalos
Mother. Daughter.
Looking inward, in reverence to nature.
"I wanted to go into the forest to learn more about natural and ancestral ways. I saw my daughter's teenage personality melt away, becoming free in her fascination of the jungle we were guided into, pulling the phone out of my hands and saying, 'You made me come all the way here, now you get off your phone and live this too.' That was the wake up call, and it is in that awakening and reconnecting that I want to be in."
Fantine Thó
We forgot how to listen.
The disconnection
We are great at pursuing our drive, investing energy and time into achieving goals, beautiful qualities worth cherishing and honoring, until they burn us out, and our world with us. Renatify is about balance: resting as much as pursuing, surrendering as much as hustling, letting go as much as acquiring, and considering more sustainable ways moving forward.
The calling
The Saracura has always been singing. She migrates in flocks; two females go ahead of the community, calling out the safety of the land before the others arrive, messengers of safe ground. Fantine Thó carries that feeling into every space Renatify enters, working in collaboration with other artists of multiple disciplines: the messenger and listener who explored first, and now leads each room back into silence.
This is a movement into remembering to return to: rest in our very own aliveness.
The request that started it
An invitation to listen: to the force of nature within us, and the nature around us.
Renatify, Native Again, is that invitation, breath by breath and song by song: back to the aliveness we already are. It carries a request from the Atlantic Forest, offered to anyone willing to listen.
Fantine and her daughter visiting Kerexu's community in the Atlantic Forest. Original music from Flesh and Soul by Fantine Thó and Alessandro De Rosa.
The Arc: story, movement, silence.
A fragment of the forest.
The evening opens with the request that gave Renatify its name: Kerexu's, spoken again in every room.
An invitation to release.
Breathwork that opens the body. Ambience music crafted in the moment: songs born from the intentions of the room, sung live by Fantine and played with guest musicians on Brazilian and ancestral instruments, improvised as she unpacks the theme of the space she is in.
A landing, calm and full.
Yoga Nidra brings the room to stillness. Calm mind, open heart, inspired spirit: not energized, but restored.
I want to learn more of your ways of relating to nature, I feel so distant. I want to honor your stories by sharing what I have learned: wearing the beautiful jewelry you have made, wearing your makeup. How do I do this without it being cultural appropriation or exoticizing? How do I make portraits of you without ever taking ownership?
Do it, do it all, let the people in Europe know we are here. When we go there we need to speak of the Amazon: nobody acknowledges the Atlantic Forest abroad, nor its most ancient people, the Guaranis. Let them know we are here. Come sing with us, learn about our ways, invite them, and let everyone contribute to our existence.
That was when I understood: the indigenous peoples are not a minority. They are leaders who need to be heard and supported in their mission of protecting nature and their ways. That's when Renatify was born.
Who carries the message
Fantine Thó
Songwriter, facilitator, and yoga and breathwork specialist. A former Sony Music artist who toured Brazil with the pop group Rouge, trained in classical ballet at the Royal Academy and competed in track and field before becoming a facilitator across the Netherlands. Fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, English and Dutch, she composes and sings live at every Renatify evening, with guest musicians bringing each night's sound to life.
In 2022 she released Flesh and Soul: Beyond Duality with Alessandro De Rosa, self-published its companion book, and returned to Brazil to sit with Kerexu. Renatify is what she carried back.
How the room unfolds.
Six ways into Renatify.
Each offering stands alone, or weaves into a full evening, workshop, or festival slot.

Breathwork
Opening up space for aliveness through breath.

A classical Hatha Yoga sequence, mastered to meet your holistic needs in a single flow: strength, cardio, mobility, flexibility, agility, and coordination, with breathwork and meditation woven through.
Flesh and Soul
One portrait,
one song, each night.
Each portrait is a chapter from Fantine's book, Flesh and Soul: offered as a projection in the room, or in conversation with the art already on its walls.
